Back in the summer, at the beginning of this campaign, I said that my No. 1 goal is to join all of you in a region-wide, grassroots effort to build a better, more responsive, more results-oriented New York government. On Primary Day, thousands of area residents expressed their support for moving forward on this common ground.
So that’s what I’m doing. I’ve traveled throughout the 136th Assembly District, and I believe we’ve made a good start on sharing the ideas, expressing the strong opinions, and putting together the sound suggestions to strengthen our voice in Albany.
Now it’s fall, and my commitment to the overriding goal of a better, more responsive government is stronger than ever. I hope we’ll have the chance to meet on the campaign trail between now and Election Day. And remember that you can always share your thoughts directly by e-mail.
I always look forward to hearing from you. Thanks again for your interest and participation, and my best wishes to you and your family.”
